When teams use SCRUM its is a highly effective and delivery heavy way of working. Scrum sprints can be 2-4 weeks long depending on what teams are working on at the time. When a team is constantly delivering business initiatives, development work and new products and/or services it’s crucial at the end of the Scrum teams sprint to stop and reflect as a team. Retrospectives/team Retro’s provide an opportunity for the team to 1) Stop 2) Reflect as a team 3) Identify blockers or things that may need to pivot and 4) Reset as a team. Retro’s are an open and honest space for the team to let our any frustrations, celebrate successes and identify opportunities for upcoming sprints. Team’s need this space to unwind and regain energy before the next sprint begins.
